OptemaTV Device Control

This client was developing one of the first home pad-based remote control systems, focusing on entertainment and air control systems first. I conceived a dynamic user-customizable interface, based on a snap-to grid and using Tetris-like tiles for the devices they wished to use. This way, the user could configure their device controls on screen any way they want, and my thinking was that an arrangement relative to the location of the devices in the room or house would be helpful, and general controls like volume, mute and power could be placed independently per location, making the interface fun, scalable and intuitive.
