As an Art Director at Creative Media Development in the 90s, I assisted in the creation of multi-image slideshows for corporate events, and learned the art of timing, registration and how to correct for parallax.
Soon after, I worked with co-founders of In Focus Systems, and designed a lot of glamour demos that presented well on a projector. Once I created a fun animation for their codename Dragonfly projector, an unveiling promo that was projected in their MacExpo booth.
From IFS some people spun off to LiteWare and to Clarity Visual Systems, for whom I created graphics, comps and animation for retail and restaurant digital menu boards. Using crude controller software, I also scored and synchronized large video wall entertainment.
Later I adapted my AdSwift direct mail technology to a direct digital advertising network based on narrow-casting and public screen leasing.
