I had the opportunity to work on a web site for this chemical and textile manufacturer's StainMaster product line. Here's the progression that led to the final.
The idea we wanted to convey was that particles are repelled by and simply bounce off a Stainmaster treated carpet. So I started with some bounce concepts.
And I worked those into some menu layouts.
Tried a word cloud approach on the client’s request.
Then started to refine the bounce idea to be more fashion-oriented.
Ultimately we went with a word-cloud looking menu subdued photography and bright red wine spilling.
